However, before updating the driver, follow the solutions listed below if you want to do some basic troubleshooting.
You may not need to attempt all of the solutions. Simply work your way down the list until you find the one that works for you.
Some Windows users believe that the problem means something is interfering with Ryzen Master Utility. Therefore to find the culprit perform a clean boot. Certain reports suggest that EasyTune from GIGABYTE is incompatible with Ryzen Master Utility hence might be the reason. Thus, if you have used/are using a GIGABYTE motherboard, check if Easy Tune is installed. If it does, uninstall it before performing a clean boot.
To do so, follow these steps:
1. Press Windows+ R to open the Run window. Type or paste msconfig > OK.
2. Navigate to the Services tab > check the box next to Hide all Microsoft services.
3. Uncheck all services EXCEPT ones associated with your hardware vendors, like – Realtek, AMD, NVIDIA, Logitech, and Intel. To save changes, click Apply > Ok.
4. Next, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc and open Task Manager. Click the Startup tab.
5. Select the program one at a time that you might think is interfering > click Disable.
6. Restart your PC to apply changes.
If this fixes the problem, find out what is causing the issue by repeating the steps and disabling the remaining apps and services.
If it doesn’t help, move to the next solution.
The problem might be due to an outdated or missing driver. When certain drivers are missing, or something goes wrong during their installation, you might face an error in Ryzen Master Driver not installed. Therefore, to fix the issue, ensure you are running up-to-date and essential drivers.
