Step 7 – In actions, you may find the option to add legacy hardware. Click on it.


Step 8 – Opening the add legacy hardware option, you now have to follow the steps by clicking Next.
Step 9 – Soon, you will reach a page where you must choose the hardware to install.
Step 10 – Choose Network Adapter from the list.


Step 11 – You may find two tables, one with the available manufacturer options and the other with the adapter listed.


Step 12 – You can find the Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter in the list of available adapters.

Install the adapter again through the abovementioned steps, which should resolve the issue for you. 

Fix #2 – Update Drivers for Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface Driver Error

If the re-install does not work, chances are that the existing driver of the network adapter requires an update. You can update the driver through the traditional method, using the device manager, and get it done.

netsh

int teredo

set state disabled

Step 3 – This will set the Tunneling Pseudo-Interface driver to a disabled state.
Step 4 – Go to the device manager again to find and uninstall the affected network driver.

Step 5 – Once you are done, return to the CMD and use the following commands one at a time – 

netsh

int ipv6

set teredo client

Step 6 – After executing the above commands, go back to the device manager and click on actions to find the scan for hardware changes option.


Step 7 – Make the scan, and you will see that the yellow exclamation on Tunneling Pseudo-Interface indicating the error is gone.
