Method 3 worked for me!! Thank you. Windows did an update yesterday 7/28/23 and my computer got dimmer and I couldn't find the brightness bar anywhere. After 2 hrs searching I uninstalled the update. The computer got bright again but the brightness bar was still missing. Now it's fixed finally.
